Following a long period of standing idle, the “Alte Post” (Old Post Office) building along Dottistrasse is now being converted into private apartments. Builders have started working on the outbuildings and large posters at the corner of Ruschestrasse and at one of the gates give an impression of what the finished building will look like.

A total of 190 residential units covering a floor space of over 17,500 square meters will be built.

The conference was held on 21st November to discuss the outlook for the Germany property market following the recent federal election. Property Investor Europe (PIE) welcomed six experts, including Charles Smethurst, CEO of Dolphin Capital GmbH.
Panelists said that long-term investors targeting commercial and residential property have little to fear about a fall in valuations and lower returns from the asset class.
